# Yuki Ueda

Yuki Ueda is an AI engineer who stands by Richard Sutton’s [The Bitter Lesson](http://www.incompleteideas.net/IncIdeas/BitterLesson.html). Based in Tokyo and Bengaluru, India, he is CPO of [PhaseShift Inc.](https://phaseshift-labs.com).

His research and development focuses on two themes. The first is Company OS: an AI-first business model in which every company and organization has its own agent, and those agents work with each other over A2A. The second is the personal AI agent.

He believes that soon everyone will have an agent of their own, one per person, helping them through daily life, from looking for work and hiring to everything else. He is building an agent that acts as a second self, something like a digital twin or a second brain, while living with one every day.
